An Update for our Customers, Suppliers, and Staff.


At Maxpax, the health, safety and wellbeing of all who work for us and with us is of paramount importance. The COVID-19 virus is a very serious challenge to all of us also importantly the families. We are working tirelessly to ensure that everything possible is being done to ensure our Maxpax Drinks are safe. We have plenty of Products and Supplies of Raw Materials to ride the pandemic storm for months if necessary.

Given the nature of our operations and with more cases arising across the World and especially Europe, until the virus is under control we are taking additional precautionary measures to ensure that we do our best to protect everyone and maintain a high level of service to our valued customers.

We have taken the following steps:

  • Restricted travel of our employees to UK operations and to our customer premises.
  • Implemented access restrictions for visitors and contractors.
  • Communicated safe behaviour through specific instructions.
  • Re-iterated the importance of our cleaning and hygiene procedures in our operations.
  • Implemented and communicated internal procedures and policies related to the handling of suspected or confirmed cases to all Maxpax personnel.

We are also taking steps to maintain the continuity of supply. It is also important for us in the current circumstances to produce products which can help consumers enjoy food and drink safely.

Product Safety

Recently published data from the authorities and university laboratories has established that the COVID-19 virus is detectable for up to 24 hours on cardboard and 72 hours on plastic surfaces.  The production lead time and transport are outside this period so transmission through our production process is extremely low risk. Also, there is no risk that packaging products we supply would be contaminated by the virus.  We are however continuing to test our surfaces to ensure we continue the protection for our customers and their consumers.
